Welcome to the Tidioute Community Charter School! TCCS will be entering its fourth year of operation in the upcoming 2008-2009 school year. We continue to make strides not only in our academic programs but with our athletics and community based programs as well.

The Tidioute Community Charter School offers its students and families:

• Individualized learning plans for every student.

• Small class sizes with a student teacher ratio of 12:1.

• Full day Kindergarten.

• An expanded music program that includes choir, band, piano and guitar, music appreciation classes and the Yamaha Music in Education Program.

• A vigorous curriculum which utilizes local resources and a state of the art wireless educational technology program promoting project based learning with a focus on the environment and community.

• Volunteer and Mentor programs that include the parents, community members and businesses in the educational equation.

• Athletics. TCCS is a member of the PIAA and at this time offers elementary volleyball, cross country and basketball, middle school and high school volleyball, cross country, basketball, softball and trap league.

The expected end results of education at TCCS are to graduate students who are:

• Fluent and Effective Communicators who listen, view, read and respond to other’s messages and ideas demonstrating the ability to communicate in reading, writing, speaking and listening and to communicate mathematically and artistically.

• Collaborative Individuals who use skillful leadership and responsible social and group skills to develop and manage interpersonal relationships within culturally and organizationally diverse settings.

• Technological Practitioners who use advanced technologies to create, access, integrate, and use information to communicate, reason, make decisions and solve complex problems in a variety of contexts.

• Responsible Citizens who demonstrate the motivation and skills necessary to preserve and make wise decisions, which reflect healthful living, interdependence and ethical behavior that contributes to society.At the Tidioute Community Charter School our goal is to provide a world class education in a small town environment.To register at the Tidioute Community Charter School for the 2008/2009 school year, you must submit the Letter of Interest Form found on our website or at the school for every child. We can accept students from the Warren County, Forest County and Titusville School Districts (Your child must be 5 years old as of August 31, 2008 to attend Kindergarten for the 2008/2009 school year). Any child residing in Pennsylvania is eligible to attend TCCS or any charter school in Pennsylvania at no charge.If you think you are interested in what we have to offer, please come look us over. We request that you give us a call so we can schedule a mutually convenient time for your visit. Remember, there is no tuition and busing is provided.
